This colorpainting is ordered by a Belgian importer of wine from France. It will be used for the design of the ticket (in black and white) of an excellent winebottle. The girl on the painting is his grandchild Kai.
Ofcourse it's not me who makes the final decision here! The customer decides which design will be used. Taste is a very personal matter! In this case the client visited me several times to discuss, and comment the result of the painting.
This is een example of a painting you can order, it 's always a nice and very original present to give to someone as a surprise.
First I make the painting in oil on canvas, afterwards I make a digital picture of my painting to put it on my website and to discard the colors to black and white or grayscale I use Photoshop.
