This painting I painted outside near the woods on a very hot summerday. I've always loved this painting! It's the good feeling I had when I painted it in the summer of 2000 in the garden of my parents house. Looking at it makes me happy, it's one of my favorit paintings which is why I can't sell it.
This painting I painted in memory of my grandfather. I never knew him. It's this view he painted when he was alive in a realistic way and which I made in this way!

I've made this painting in Zoersel in the woods of Zoersel during my studytime in the academy in Antwerpen. Me and all the students of my classroom stayed here during one projectweek to study landscapes. It was a very impressioning week.
